Bambu Lab PLA Silk Filament on Spool
Description
Bambu PLA Silk offers a silk-like and high-gloss appearance that adds a luxurious touch to your prints while retaining the ease of use of PLA. Unlike other silk filaments, Bambu PLA Silk has been toughened and demonstrates greater resistance to breakage when used with AMS printing. It's ideal for decorations, artistic projects, 3D character models, or any parts where a shinier finish is desired.
Printing Tips
- The glossiness of the model printed with Silk material can be controlled by adjusting printing temperature and speed. For glossier finishes, higher printing temperatures and/or lower speeds are recommended.
- Recommended settings: Nozzle temperature: 230 - 240 ℃, Outer wall speed: 30 - 60 mm/s
- Recommended Plate: Cool Plate, High Temperature Plate, or Textured PEI Plate
- Recommended Hotend: Hardened Steel Nozzle (0.4 mm), Stainless Steel Nozzle (0.2 mm, 0.4 mm)
- All printing parameters are embedded in RFID, which can be read through Bambu Lab AMS (Automatic Material System). Load and print! No more tedious setup steps.
