Description

Bambu PPA-CF is a premium fiber-reinforced nylon that provides industrial-grade printing quality with precise 1:1 reproduction. Recognised for its exceptional mechanical properties and reliable performance in humid and high-temperature environments, Bambu PPA-CF is ideal for a wide range of engineering applications, from mechanical prototypes to automotive components. Its broad compatibility with various printers sets a new benchmark for professional engineering filaments, enabling you to harness its full potential to bring your designs to life!

Bambu PPA-CF is compatible with P1S, X1C, and X1E printers, requiring only an enclosure and a hardened steel nozzle. This filament is surprisingly easy to use, printing smoothly at nozzle temperatures between 280°C and 310°C.

Note: PPS-CF is NOT compatible with AMS or AMS Lite.

Printing Tips

Drying Recommendations:

  • Drying Temperature:
    • In a blast drying oven: 100°C to 140°C for 8 to 12 hours.
    • On an X1 printer's heatbed: 110°C to 120°C for 10 to 12 hours (less effective than a blast drying oven).

    Important Note: Higher temperatures within the drying range yield better results, but do not exceed 160°C to avoid damaging the spool.

Storage Tips:

  • Storage Condition: To prevent the filament from absorbing moisture, use an airtight storage container with desiccant during printing.

Annealing Prints:

  • If you need to anneal the prints, please consult the Technical Data Sheet (TDS) and the Bambu Lab WIKI section on Work After Printing Finished.

Interface Layer:

  • To prevent the filament from damaging the printing surface and to enhance model adhesion, apply a thin coat of glue stick for optimal results.

The performance of prints depends not only on the printer and printing temperature but also on the product's orientation (XY direction is significantly better than the Z direction), wall loops, sparse infill pattern, sparse infill density, size, structure, shape, and other factors.
