Description
Did you know each 16mm lens for the Raspberry Pi HQ Camera weighs 175 grams? You need a robust housing to keep both camera optics stable! Plastic does not work here, so we crafted a special aluminum housing. The optic is screwed into the metal base, so your camera will be stable in any movement.
We also developed an advanced sensor vertical adjustment system. You can align both cameras ideally before taking images or capture a video. This allows you to livestream video directly to a VR helmet or share it on YouTube with no post-processing for the camera sensor disposition compensation. You can also share/view captured stereoscopic images without software postprocessing them!
This HQ housing kit also includes a couple or HOYA CM500 filters. It means you can do non-destructive disassembly of your HQ cameras to use it with our HQ housing. And if you need them in original assembly, spend 5 minutes with a screwdriver, and your cameras are back!
To use this kit, you will need your own Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4, cameras, camera ribbon cables, and power cable.
The board comes with two short power cables.
