Description
The Raspberry Pi HQ Camera is the latest camera module from Raspberry Pi. Compared to the older Raspberry Pi Camera V2, it offers a 50% higher resolution of 12 megapixels and at the same time a 50% increased pixel size for excellent sensitivity and image quality even in low light conditions. Thanks to the support of interchangeable lenses in C- and CS-mount format, the camera unit can be optimally adapted to the intended application. Other lens form factors can be mounted using optional lens adapters.
The HQ Camera is ideal for demanding industrial and consumer applications including computer vision, object surveillance, wildlife cameras and more. It is compatible with all Raspberry Pi models when using a current operating system.
The camera module houses the Sony IMX477 image sensor under a CNC-milled aluminium lens holder with focus adjustment ring and integrated tripod mount. A FPC cable for connection to a Raspberry Pi and a C to CS mount adapter are supplied as standard. Lenses must be ordered separately.
