Description
IQaudio DAC Pro is a high-quality audio output HAT for Raspberry Pi 1 Model B+, 2, 3, and 4. It features the Texas Instruments PCM5242 DAC, providing excellent signal-to-noise performance. The DAC Pro supports balanced and differential output alongside phono/RCA output and includes a headphone amplifier.
It connects easily to the Raspberry Pi's 40-pin GPIO header without soldering or external power. The DAC Pro has two 3-pin headers (P7/P9) for optional XLR connections, allowing for balanced output through XLR sockets located above the USB/Ethernet ports.
Specifications:
- P1: Analogue output (0-2V RMS); carries GPIO27, MUTE signal, audio channels, and grounds.
- P6: Headphone socket; includes left, right, and ground signals.
- P7/P9: Differential output (0-4V RMS); P7 for left and P9 for right.
- P10: Optional 5V input for powering the Raspberry Pi.

Note: Each IQaudIO sound cards has a specific purpose / is designed for specific use cases. Select the board that best integrates with your existing HiFi equipment. If you don't have any existing equipment then simply buy a set of speakers and use the Pi-DigiAMP+.
