Soldered 333012 Obstacle sensor TCRT5000 breakout
Description
The obstacle sensor based on the TCRT5000 uses an infrared LED and a transceiver for obstacle detection. The board features a voltage comparator, and by adjusting the potentiometer, we obtain a digital output that depends on the proximity of the obstacle. The DO LED on the board also indicates that the digital output is active. An analog output is available if more precise data is required. The sensor works particularly well for line-following purposes in small robots.
