Description
This module features a component known as a phototransistor, which can detect infrared (IR) radiation. Since fire emits a significant amount of IR radiation, this sensor will be able to detect it. However, this is not its only application; wherever IR radiation is present, the sensor will recognize it, including sunlight.
With the help of the embedded comparator, the sensor provides either a digital (HIGH/LOW) or an analog (0V-5V) output signal, depending on the strength of the IR radiation.
