Description
A digital potentiometer is similar to a conventional potentiometer; however, instead of using a wiper to adjust the resistance, it utilizes digital communication. The resistance of the digital potentiometer is adjusted through the I2C communication protocol.
Our module is based on the MCP4018 IC, which offers a total of 128 steps between resistances of 0 and 50k Ohms. This means it can make resistance steps of approximately 390 Ohms. It is controlled via the I2C protocol, making it easy to use.
