Description
Add a Screen to Your Arduino Projects
Would you like to add a screen to your Arduino projects? The I2C OLED breakout board is very convenient for this. Thanks to its high contrast, you'll be impressed by the sharpness of the OLED screen. The screen is made up of hundreds of LEDs, each representing a pixel in the 128x64 grid. This means it doesn't need a backlight and consumes less power than LCD screens. That's 8192 pixels, all of which can be individually illuminated at the touch of a button!
The design is tailored for 5V and includes an embedded regulator, making it compatible with any board that uses 3.3V. The board consumes only around 20 mA, but this depends on the number of active pixels. It is easily controlled via the I2C communication protocol. Connecting with EasyC is even simpler ? no soldering is required!
