Have you ever wondered what concentration of natural gas and methane is present in your living room? You can easily measure it! The MQ4 breakout board is a simple sensor that detects natural gas and methane (CH4) in the air. At optimal operating temperature, it quickly detects concentration changes in the air between 200 and 10,000 ppm.
The DO pin indicates the digital output, while the AO pin indicates the analog output. The digital output is achieved by setting the thresholds with the potentiometer. The analog output depends on the gas concentration around the sensor.
