Description
Invisible gases are everywhere. Although we usually don't need to worry about them, in some cases they can be highly flammable and dangerous. The MQ9 breakout sensor detects carbon monoxide, methane, propane, and other flammable gases, allowing timely preventive actions to be taken. The sensor detects carbon monoxide concentrations from 10 to 1,000 ppm and concentrations of other flammable gases from 100 to 10,000 ppm.
Digital and analogue outputs are located on the board, labelled as DO and AO. Digital output can be achieved by setting threshold values using the potentiometer. Analogue output depends on the gas concentration.
