Soldered 333120 LPG, Butane sensor MQ6 breakout with easyC
Description
Different substances in the gaseous state can be detected by smell, but there are challenges when it comes to distinguishing some odorless gases. This is why sensors like the MQ6 are used to measure LPG and butane concentrations in the air. At optimal working temperatures, it quickly detects concentration changes in the air ranging from 200 to 10,000 ppm.
The breakout provides digital and analog information via the easyC system. Data from the sensor can be accessed through easyC.
Recommendation for using this product:
When gas is detected, the LED lights up. If the sensor does not detect gas, the LED remains off. Four mounting holes allow for easy attachment to surfaces. The board includes three header pins.
