Description
The MQ138 sensor is designed for the detection of various gases, primarily focusing on monitoring air quality. While its main target gas is formaldehyde (HCHO), it is also sensitive to a range of other gases, including volatile organic compounds (VOCs) such as toluene, alcohol, acetone, and hydrogen, as well as other harmful gases commonly found in the environment. It requires minimal time to heat up to function effectively.
The breakout board provides both digital and analog information via the easyC system. You can obtain data from the sensor through easyC.
Recommendations for using this product:
When gas is detected, the LED lights up. If the sensor does not detect gas, the LED remains off. Four mounting holes facilitate easy installation on surfaces. The board includes three pin headers.
