Description
Inkplate 2 is an Arduino-compatible board featuring a 2.13" tricolor E-Paper display. It is a plug-and-play device, programmable via a USB connection, and powered by an ESP32 microcontroller. Additionally, it connects to the internet through WiFi or Bluetooth. In low-power mode, it consumes only 8 µA, allowing it to run for months on a single charge of a lithium battery. It is simple enough for beginners to use but also offers extensive features and a user-friendly platform for more advanced users. The Inkplate 2 packs everything into a small circuit board.
If you've ever seen an e-book reader, you may have thought: "If only I could use that screen for my project." With its exceptional sharpness, contrast, sunlight readability, and unmatched energy efficiency (it only uses power when the screen content changes), E-Paper is an ideal choice for many applications. Continuing the tradition of the well-known Inkplate series, the Inkplate 2 makes E-Paper technology accessible to hobbyists and others by providing a plug-and-play hardware solution that is truly easy to use, and it's also compatible with Arduino and MicroPython. This version comes with a beautiful 3D-printed case.
