Description
Once you've seen an e-book reader, you may have thought, "If only I could use this screen for my project." Thanks to its extraordinary sharpness and contrast, sunlight readability, and unparalleled energy efficiency (it only uses power when the content on the screen changes), e-paper is an ideal choice for many applications.
Continuing the tradition of the well-known Inkplate 6, the Inkplate 10 offers variations of e-paper that are accessible to hobbyists and others alike. It features plug-and-play hardware that is truly easy to use and compatible with both Arduino and MicroPython.
Here are some features of the Inkplate 10:
- Beautiful e-paper display with a screen diagonal of 9.7 inches
- Can change its content in just 1.61 seconds
- Supports grayscale and allows for partial updates
- Powered by the ESP32, a robust microcontroller with WiFi and Bluetooth capabilities
With the Soldered Arduino Library, you only need 5 minutes to start working with the board. The Inkplate 10 is 100% open-source in both software and hardware.
It's particularly interesting that Inkplate uses recycled screens sourced from old e-book readers, making it very environmentally friendly. However, please note that some screens may have minor scratches. Screens with significant scratches or damages are not used.
