Description
PiCam module
The PiCam module is the mechanical solution to connect a 15-pin camera* and the Raspberry Pi compute module 4*. This board offers the ideal connection for a compact mechanical design.
The Raspberry Pi compute module 4 (cm4, not included) can be plugged into the bottom of the PiCam module. The camera module (not included) is connected to the PiCam module via FFC/FPC ribbon cable. Reverse polarity must be avoided as a matter of urgency. If required, the camera module can also be mounted directly on the PiCam module, which achieves maximum compactness. The existing mounting holes cover a variety of Raspberry camera modules.
Any 15-pin camera should be connectable.
In addition, the PiCam module can generally also be used for programming of the Raspberry cm4.
